Novato Farmers Market
Tuesday afternoon/evenings
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
May 6 through September 30, 2008.
The market sets up on Grant Ave. between Machin and Reichert Aves., in downtown Novato (see map and directions below).
Welcome
The Novato Certified Farmers' market started off with a bang on May 6th! It was a very well attended and very successful market! Our season will run through Tuesday, September 30, 2008 with market hours of 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. for your shopping convenience.
Once again we have many new surprises in store for you in 2008. We have added a new organic farmer (more fresh organic produce), more diversity of product, some absolutely incredible cooked food vendors (more later on them), an exciting musician schedule, and more. These are just a few more reasons to come down and shop every Tuesday evening!
For customers' convenience, the market has a nice wide aisle down the middle to give everyone enough strolling room, and there's plenty of nearby parking. We also will have an expanded seating area for those folks who come after work, relax with friends and neighbors, or get a bite to eat from one of a variety of prepared food booths and enjoy wonderful local musicians.
With great local musicians, Jubilee Jumps, clowns, carriage rides, cooked foods, and locally grown fresh fruit and produce we soon hope to see you every Tuesday evening out at the farmers market!

Welcome to our latest addition of Tofu Yu
Starting on July 15th we will adding Tofu Yu to our farmers market! Kevin has a great selection of healthy tofu products including soy pasta, smoked tofu, pinwheel rolls (these are soooo tasty!!!) and soy ham just to name a few, and they all taste awesome!!! Your kids will love 'em too. Please stop by his booth and give him a warm Novato welcome. Visit his website too at www.tofuyu.com
Starting on July 22nd we will adding Ice Queen Shaved Ice to our farmers market! Rachel, a local Novato resident, is making her life long vision since childhood a reality of having and serving the finest shaved ice to the public. I got to try hers recently and they are just the finest, tastiest, smoothest shaved ice I have ever had. The key to her uniqueness is how finely shaven the ice is, being snow like in texture. She also uses locally grown fruit in some as well. Add being very green friendly (uses biodegrable supplies) in packaging, uses organic flavoring, well...you can see why I am so excited to get her into the market as well!
